Air France Strengthens Summer 2026 Offer, Accelerates Expansion in Americas and Asia
Paris, March 26, 2026 – Air France has announced a significant reinforcement of its flight network for Summer 2026, increasing its long-haul capacity by 2%. This expansion comes amidst a tense geopolitical context, with the airline simultaneously pursuing its strategy of upgrading services and centralizing operations at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
Focus on the Americas: New Routes and Increased Frequencies
The airline’s growth is primarily driven by enhanced connections to North and South America. A new direct route from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Las Vegas will be inaugurated on April 15, 2026, with three weekly flights. Furthermore, Air France will double its frequencies to New York Newark starting in June, bringing the total daily flights to New York, in partnership with Delta Air Lines, to up to 11.
Navigating Geopolitical Challenges: Suspended Flights and Asian Expansion
In response to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh remain suspended until early April 2026. Concurrently, Air France is bolstering its capacity to Asia, deploying more flights and larger aircraft on key destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Tokyo, and Osaka.
Premium Services and Connectivity Enhancements
Air France continues to roll out its high-end “La Première” cabin, which is now available on additional destinations. The airline is also progressing with the implementation of free, very high-speed Wi-Fi, expected to be available across nearly its entire fleet by the end of 2026, with 40% of aircraft already equipped.
Short and Medium-Haul Network and Domestic Operations
For its short and medium-haul network, Air France will serve over 90 destinations with up to 630 daily flights. This includes new connections like London-Gatwick and strengthened services to several European and Mediterranean cities. Domestically, the airline is centralizing its operations at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, increasing connections to Toulouse, Nice, and Marseille. Transavia will become the primary operator at Paris-Orly, serving 109 destinations across 33 countries.
