Lyon, April 28, 2026 – FestiExpo, the highly anticipated Turkish culture festival, is returning to Eurexpo Lyon in Chassieu for its 16th edition from May 8 to 10, 2026. This spring event promises an immersive experience, inviting visitors to delve into the rich tapestry of Turkish culture through gastronomy, arts, and vibrant cultural exchanges. FestiExpo Transforms Eurexpo Lyon into a Turkish Grand Bazaar
For three days, Eurexpo Lyon will be transformed into a bustling Grand Bazaar, reminiscent of Istanbul’s iconic marketplace. Upon entering, guests will be enveloped by the distinct sounds, aromas, and colors that define Turkish heritage. This year’s FestiExpo, formerly known as FestiCulture, aims to provide a unique and comprehensive immersion into a civilization renowned for its depth and diversity, an experience rarely found in the Rhône region.
Beyond a mere celebration, FestiExpo serves as a vital platform for cultural and economic dialogue between France, Europe, and Turkey. Its broad appeal to families, professionals, and culinary enthusiasts solidifies its position as one of the major spring events in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
Highlights and New Additions for the 2026 Edition
FestiExpo 2026 distinguishes itself with a rich and varied program. A notable new addition this year is a dedicated hub focusing on Turkish medical tourism excellence, reflecting the growing prominence of this sector on the European stage. This new feature complements an already extensive agenda that includes exhibitions, interactive workshops, and professional networking opportunities.
The festival also offers a chance to explore both traditional and contemporary Turkish cultural influences through artistic performances, live culinary demonstrations, and engaging shows. Designed to foster curiosity and shared experiences, the event acts as a unique bridge between two distinct cultures. For those seeking an original outing during the May weekend, FestiExpo presents a compelling option.
