Paris, January 13, 2026 – The Golden Street-art competition, organized by trompe-l-oeil.info, has unveiled its selection of the 60 most beautiful urban artworks created in France in 2025. Among these, a remarkable 17 frescoes are located in the Ile-de-France region, with four specifically within Paris. Art enthusiasts are invited to cast their votes for these exceptional pieces until February 1st, 2026.
Ile-de-France Dominates Golden Street-art Nominations
The 12th edition of the Golden Street-art competition highlights the vibrant street art scene across France. This year, the Ile-de-France region has a strong showing, with 17 nominated artworks. These pieces, created in 2025, are now vying for the title of France’s most beautiful mural.
Val-d’Oise Contributions
The Val-d’Oise department features several notable nominations. In Argenteuil, Rouge Hartley’s impressive mural, completed in October 2025 on Quai Saint Denis, transforms two massive pillars, each approximately 20 meters high and 11 meters wide. Jouy-le-Moutier hosts a collaborative work by 2Li and 2FLUI at 16 rue Maurice Ravel. Taverny showcases a piece by L7m at 5 rue du Pressoir. Cergy-Pontoise is represented by a mural from Nexer One & 2FLUI, created during the Caps Attack festival by the Art Osons Association at 2 avenue du Jour, as well as an artwork by Spear at 1 rue de la Gare.
Yvelines Showcases Four Nominees
The Yvelines department also boasts four nominated frescoes. Alexandre Sarrat, known as “Ma Touche Perso,” has a piece in Aubergenville on rue de la Gare. Saint-Germain-en-Laye features a mural by Alber at the intersection of boulevard Hector-Berlioz and rue Jean-Baptiste Lulli. Limay is home to two nominated works: one by the duo Alegria del Prado at 9 allée des coutures, and another by Nantes-based street artist Eskat at 40 rue Roelandt.
Seine-Saint-Denis, Hauts-de-Seine, and Seine-et-Marne
In Seine-Saint-Denis, Mapecoo’s 150 m² mural in Bobigny, located at 8 rue de la République, is the sole nominee from the department. Jean-Baptiste Colin, or JBC, has a recognized fresco in Malakoff, Hauts-de-Seine, at 102 rue Paul Vaillant Couturier. Mapecoo also has a work in Arcueil, Val-de-Marne, at 1 Cité des Irlandais. Shozy, known for his 3D techniques, contributed a mural in Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Seine-et-Marne, at 4 rue des Récollets in 2025.
Parisian Street Art in the Spotlight
The capital city, Paris, offers four entries among the 60 selected works. These include a piece by Philippe Baudelocque in the 13th arrondissement at 16 rue Vergniaud, and a creation by Crey132 at Spot 13 on rue Jean-Baptiste Berlier.
