Lyon, March 9, 2026 – GL Events, the global event management giant headquartered in Lyon, has reported “record” results for the year 2025, marking a significant 5% increase in net profit for the group, reaching €86 million. This strong performance underscores what the company’s CEO, Olivier Ginon, described as a “remarkable year” for the group.

GL Events: A Year of Solid Performance and Strategic Expansion

In a statement, Olivier Ginon emphasized, “GL Events achieved another record year in 2025, confirming the robustness of its model and the relevance of its strategy.” The company’s revenue for 2025 reached €1.721 billion, also up by 5% compared to the previous year. Furthermore, the net debt saw a reduction of €46 million, settling at €471 million.

International Growth and Key Market Reinforcement

Ginon highlighted the success of the group’s international expansion, stating, “Our international expansion continues successfully in Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and South Africa, while we strengthen our presence in promising, high-potential markets: animal health, professional events, food services, and major sports and institutional events.” This strategic global reach has been a key driver of their exceptional performance.

Looking Ahead: Ambitious Growth Targets for 2026

GL Events is not resting on its laurels, as it anticipates an acceleration of its growth in 2026. The company has set an ambitious target of an 8% increase in revenue, which Ginon attributes to a “portfolio of major contracts.”

This projected growth is particularly noteworthy as it aims to “offset an unfavorable biennial cycle,” which includes major events such as the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, and the FIFA World Cup and Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Stade de France Concession and Long-Term Visibility

A significant strategic win for GL Events last summer was securing the concession for the Stade de France. This achievement followed an intense bidding war against the Vinci-Bouygues consortium, which had managed the sports arena for the past 30 years.

Ginon underscored the importance of this acquisition, stating, “The Stade de France, with 29 events already programmed, as well as our multi-year contracts for the Las Vegas and Interlagos Formula 1 Grand Prix, strengthen our medium and long-term visibility.” These long-term commitments provide a stable foundation for continued success.

The company’s consistent growth and strategic expansions position it as a formidable player in the global events industry, with a clear vision for sustained success in the coming years.
