Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France – The 110th edition of the Lyon Fair officially commenced this morning at Eurexpo, marking the beginning of an 11-day event under the theme “All on Stage!”. With approximately 850 exhibitors and an anticipated 180,000 visitors, the fair is set to run until March 30th, offering a diverse range of attractions and innovations.
Cleanmania and Innova’Lyon Kick Off the Event
The 2026 edition introduces several significant novelties. From today until March 22nd, Cleanmania takes over the Place des Lumières, featuring workshops, cleaning olympiads, and appearances by influencers, aligning with the viral CleanTok phenomenon. This initiative aims to engage the public with new approaches to cleanliness and home organization.
Innova’Lyon, now in its 8th edition, also started today and will continue until March 22nd. This event brings together the region’s most promising startups, showcasing their latest innovations and entrepreneurial spirit. Immersive Exhibition and Unique Spaces
Among the fair’s key attractions is a 1,500 m² immersive exhibition dedicated to the behind-the-scenes world of animated films. In partnership with Studio TAT, this exhibition offers visitors of all ages a unique glimpse into the production processes of the Toulouse-based studio. This interactive experience promises to be both educational and entertaining, revealing the magic of animation.
From March 27th to 29th, an unprecedented 3,000 m² agricultural space, spearheaded by the “Semons l’Avenir” association, will connect the public with local agricultural sectors. This area will feature live animals, agricultural machinery, educational workshops, and a producers’ market, promoting local produce and sustainable farming practices.
Artisanry, Mobility, and Lyon Tattoo Convention
The Artisans’ Village has been strategically repositioned at the heart of Hall 2, gathering around fifty businesses. Visitors can enjoy continuous demonstrations and interact with “Meilleurs Ouvriers de France” (Best Craftsmen of France), showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and traditional skills.
The mobility sector has doubled its exhibition space, now spanning over 3,200 m², dedicated to motorhomes and converted vans. This expanded area caters to the growing interest in nomadic lifestyles and recreational vehicles, offering a wide selection of models and accessories.
On March 28th and 29th, the Lyon Tattoo Convention will host over 120 French and international tattoo artists. This event provides a platform for artists to display their talent and for enthusiasts to discover new styles and trends in the tattooing world.
Practical Information for Visitors
Entry to the Lyon Fair was free for all visitors this Friday, March 20th, and will also be free on Monday, March 30th. The fair is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM until March 30th, with two late-night openings until 10:00 PM on March 24th and 27th. Adult tickets are priced at 6€ online and 8€ at the venue.
