New Express Bus Line 9517 to Roissy CDG Airport: Your Practical Guide

As of March 1, 2026, the popular RoissyBus shuttle will cease operations, making way for a new express bus service: line 9517. This new route offers a vital alternative for travelers heading to or from Roissy-Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, connecting Argenteuil and Saint-Denis-Pleyel directly to Roissypôle, just a short walk from the airport terminals.

Why the Change?

The RoissyBus, which has long served as a direct link between Opéra in Paris and Roissy CDG, is being replaced to optimize public transport options. The new 9517 line aims to provide a convenient and efficient solution for residents and tourists alike, particularly those in the northern and western suburbs of Paris.

Key Information About the New 9517 Express Bus Line

1. Route and Stops

  • Starting Point: Argenteuil
  • Intermediate Stop: Saint-Denis-Pleyel
  • Destination: Roissypôle (a few minutes’ walk from Roissy CDG Airport)

For passengers traveling from central Paris, it is recommended to take Metro Line 14 (or Line 13, RER D, buses 139 and 255) to Saint-Denis-Pleyel, where they can then transfer to the 9517 express bus. The 9517 can also be boarded at Argenteuil station, with connections to Transilien Line J.

Note: Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) confirms that the line will offer a direct journey between Saint-Denis-Pleyel and Roissy Airport.

The average travel time from Saint-Denis-Pleyel to Roissy CDG Airport is estimated to be 30 to 45 minutes, subject to traffic conditions.

Alternatives to RoissyBus
