Paris, July 8, 2026 – The Paris FC women’s team is actively preparing for the new Arkema Première Ligue season by announcing the recruitment of two international players: defender Hillary Diaz and defender Manoly Baquerizo. These signings aim to strengthen the squad as the club, a finalist in last year’s Arkema Première Ligue, prepares to compete in the Women’s Champions League.

Hillary Diaz Returns to Arkema Première Ligue from Inter Milan

Paris FC has officially announced the signing of Hillary Diaz from Inter Milan. The 21-year-old player has committed to the Parisian club until 2029. Originally from Saint-Herblain, Diaz joined FC Nantes at the age of eight and made her first-team debut at fifteen in 2019. Three years later, she moved to Girondins de Bordeaux for two seasons, earning her first cap for the French national team in 2023 against Portugal. In the summer of 2024, she left Bordeaux for Inter Milan. Due to a lack of playing time, she returned to the Arkema Première Ligue on loan in January 2025 with FC Fleury.

“Her qualities, youth, and personality make Hillary Diaz an excellent reinforcement for Paris FC and Sandrine Soubeyrand’s team,” the Parisian club stated in its press release.

Ecuadorian International Manoly Baquerizo Joins Paris FC

The following day, Paris FC continued its summer transfer window by signing Manoly Baquerizo. The Ecuadorian international defender (18 caps) has penned a contract until 2028 after leaving Granada CF in Spain. The 27-year-old player began her football career in her native country before moving to the United States in 2015 to play in the American university championship. After four seasons, she signed in Spain, playing for Cáceres, Cacereño, and Alavés before joining Granada last year.

“We are convinced that her international experience, consistency, and leadership will be valuable assets to support the club’s ambitions, both in the league and on the European stage,” commented Gaëtane Thiney, sporting director of the Paris FC women’s section.

These strategic acquisitions underscore Paris FC’s commitment to building a competitive team capable of achieving its goals in both domestic and international competitions.
