Paris, July 7, 2026 – The city of Paris is once again buzzing with cultural activities as the ‘Kiosques en fête’ festival returns, offering over 1000 free events across nearly 40 of its public parks and gardens. Since April 18 and continuing until October 25, 2026, Parisians and visitors alike can enjoy a diverse program of concerts, dance performances, readings, shows, and workshops, all aimed at revitalizing the city’s green spaces.

Kiosks Reclaim Their Role as Stars of Public Gardens

Originally launched in 2017, the ‘Kiosques en fête’ initiative has grown significantly, transforming often-overlooked kiosks into lively centers of community engagement. With the arrival of warmer weather, these historical structures are now hosting a wide array of free activities, bringing music, art, and social interaction to various arrondissements.

Live concerts, DJ sets, theatrical performances, literary readings, dance workshops, sports introductions, and citizen meetings are scheduled to animate weekends and select evenings throughout the autumn. The only condition for participants is that their activities must be under three hours, including setup and teardown. The extensive program was curated from a call for projects issued by the City of Paris earlier this year, drawing enthusiastic responses from local associations, educational institutions, cultural organizations, and district town halls.

Participating Kiosks and Gardens Across Paris

Nearly 40 Parisian kiosks are participating in this 2026 edition, with some of the most frequented locations including the Nelson Mandela Garden in Paris Centre, Square d’Anvers in the 9th arrondissement, and Parc de Choisy in the 13th. The 15th arrondissement is particularly active this year, featuring six green spaces such as Parc Georges Brassens, Square Violet, and Square Necker. Other prominent venues include Parc Montsouris in the 14th, Jardin du Ranelagh in the 16th, and Parc de Belleville in the 20th.

Visitors can expect to enjoy popular dances, family shows, and open-air concerts directly under the historic kiosks in many gardens. The full list of participating locations by arrondissement includes:

Program Extends Until October 25th

The 2026 ‘Kiosques en fête’ season will continue until Sunday, October 25th. Each arrondissement features its own unique program, with different events scheduled depending on the week and the specific garden. The City of Paris emphasizes that all events are free, open to the public, and held outdoors. Some kiosks are also covered, ensuring that certain activities can proceed even in unpredictable weather conditions.

For a detailed schedule of concerts, shows, and activities in each arrondissement, visitors are encouraged to visit the official website of the City of Paris, where comprehensive calendars will be progressively updated.

This initiative underscores Paris’s commitment to fostering a vibrant cultural scene and providing accessible entertainment for all its residents and tourists throughout the year.
