Meyzieu, December 3rd – The Promogim Group officially inaugurated its new residential complex, “Terrasses et Jardins,” in Meyzieu. This development, comprising 85 homes across four buildings, combines private ownership with social rental housing, designed to blend harmoniously into the East Lyon metropolitan area.

A Mixed-Use Residential Program at the Gates of Lyon

Located less than 30 minutes from Lyon, the “Terrasses et Jardins” residence offers a diverse housing solution with 59 units for private ownership and 26 social rental units, managed by Lyon Métropole Habitat. The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from the Métropole de Lyon and the City of Meyzieu.

The private ownership units include 29 one-bedroom (T2), 28 two-bedroom (T3), and 2 three-bedroom (T4) apartments. Each unit features an outdoor space, such as a balcony, loggia, terrace, or private garden. As of the inauguration date, five units remained available: four T3s and one T4.

Architecture Integrated into its Environment

Designed by architect Michel de Backer, the residence is set within a landscaped environment, notably close to the 11-hectare Bois du Fort. The buildings, which are two stories high with an attic level, incorporate the architectural aesthetics of the neighborhood, featuring red roofs and understated color palettes.

The architectural design emphasizes rhythmic volumes created by staggered facades and expansive openings that face the landscaped gardens. Pedestrian pathways are thoughtfully laid out with planted avenues, punctuated by trees that structure and animate the outdoor areas.

Amenities Tailored for Residential Use

The apartments are designed to provide functional and bright living spaces, with most kitchens opening directly into the living areas. The orientation of the homes, predominantly Southeast or West, maximizes natural light exposure.

The residence includes an underground parking facility with 108 spaces spread across two levels, most of which are boxable. Bicycle storage facilities are also provided for residents.

A Project Rooted in the Meyzieu Territory

Situated at 17 route d’Azieu, the residence benefits from a prime location on the edge of the city, offering proximity to natural spaces and essential community facilities. Primary schools are within walking distance, while local shops are approximately ten minutes away.

With “Terrasses et Jardins,” the Promogim Group continues its residential expansion in the Lyon metropolitan area, delivering a housing solution that combines private and social residences within an urban setting that respects its natural surroundings.
