Paris, January 28, 2026 – Disneyland Paris has officially revealed the map for its transformed Walt Disney Studios park, now rebranded as Disney Adventure World. The highly anticipated expansion, set to open in March 2026, promises to transport guests into the magical realms of beloved Disney films, including ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Lion King’.

Disney Adventure World: A Glimpse into the Future

The new map, released on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, provides a detailed look at how the new zones will integrate with the existing park. This marks a significant milestone in the park’s multi-billion-euro investment to enhance the visitor experience.

Adventure Bay: A New Lake and Iconic Worlds

At the heart of the expansion lies Adventure Bay, a new area featuring a second lake and a new castle, drawing inspiration from the enchanting world of ‘Frozen’. Guests can also look forward to an English garden paying homage to British classics such as ‘Peter Pan’ and ‘101 Dalmatians’. A new attraction inspired by ‘Tangled’ is also among the exciting additions.

Disneyland Paris had previously announced on November 24, 2005, that Disney Adventure World would officially open its gates on March 29, 2026, with Adventure Bay being a central part of this grand transformation. This revelation, first shared during the D23 event, underscores a major leap forward in the resort’s evolution.

Future Expansions and Ongoing Transformations

The transformation doesn’t stop there. Future plans include an extension centered around ‘The Lion King’, featuring an entirely new attraction. This is part of a larger two-billion-euro investment by Disney to expand and transform Disneyland Paris, with three new universes dedicated to Marvel, ‘Frozen’, and ‘The Lion King’.

Initiated in 2019, the construction work has been unfolding in phases, with initial openings commencing on July 20, 2022. The park continues to evolve, promising new and immersive experiences for visitors for years to come.
