Eau de Paris Inaugurates New Strategic Headquarters in Paris

Paris, February 27 – Eau de Paris, the municipal water utility, officially moved into its new headquarters on February 16, 2026. Located in the 13th arrondissement, less than a kilometer from its former site, the rehabilitated building spans 5,400 square meters over nine floors, emphasizing both strategic importance and environmental responsibility.

This marks a significant milestone as it is the first time the municipal utility owns its headquarters. The project prioritized eco-responsibility, with 180 tons of materials and equipment being reused during the rehabilitation.

Integrated Control Center: The ‘Water Control Tower’

A key feature of the new facility is the Integrated Control Center, described as a true “water control tower.” This advanced center operates 24/7, continuously monitoring 2,000 kilometers of pipelines, 5 reservoirs, and 7 treatment plants. Its primary mission is to ensure uninterrupted water service for 3 million users across the city.

The strategic location and advanced technological capabilities of the new headquarters are designed to enhance the efficiency and resilience of Paris’s water supply system.

Commitment to Sustainability and Operational Excellence

The decision to rehabilitate an existing tertiary building underscores Eau de Paris’s commitment to sustainable development and circular economy principles. By reusing a substantial amount of materials, the project minimized its environmental footprint while providing a modern and efficient workspace for employees.

The new headquarters not only centralizes critical operations but also reflects Eau de Paris’s dedication to operational excellence and long-term environmental stewardship. The facility is expected to serve as a model for future urban infrastructure projects, combining strategic functionality with eco-conscious design.

The move represents a forward-thinking approach to managing essential public services, ensuring that Paris’s water infrastructure remains robust, efficient, and environmentally sound for years to come.
