Lyon Metropolis: New Vice-Presidents Appointed Following 2026 Elections
Lyon, April 7, 2026 – The new vice-presidents and their delegations for the Lyon Metropolis have been officially announced, following the metropolitan elections held on March 22, 2026. The ballot resulted in an absolute majority for the Grand Coeur Lyonnais group, led by Véronique Sarselli, who now serves as the new president.
“This organization reflects a clear commitment: to ensure a coherent distribution of responsibilities, serving a public action that is clear, effective, and fully rooted in the priorities of the Lyon Metropolis. Each delegation has been designed to address the major challenges of the region, in close connection with the expectations expressed by residents and municipalities,” stated the new executive of the Lyon Metropolis in an official press release.

The new vice-presidents, working under the leadership of President Véronique Sarselli, are organized into several key poles, each addressing critical areas of metropolitan governance:
