The service will run from July 20 to August 28, 2026, with daily return flights from Monday to Friday. This expansion comes as Rennes Bretagne Airport faces a decline in air traffic, with a 5.9% drop in passenger numbers during the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.
New Route Details and Objectives
The new Twin Jet flight will depart from Rennes at 6:40 PM, arriving in Lyon at 8:20 PM. Return flights from Lyon will depart at 4:30 PM, landing in Rennes at 6:10 PM. This new offering complements Air France’s existing service on the Rennes-Lyon axis, aiming to meet the demand for enhanced connectivity between these two economically dynamic metropolitan areas.
