The Grand Venise Set to Reopen in the 7th Arrondissement

At 74 Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg, a new chapter is set to begin within the former Pasco restaurant. Behind the ongoing renovations, the Grand Venise, an Italian institution founded in 1920 by the Lani family, is preparing for its grand return. Alexandre Corrot, who also owns Le Conti, considered the oldest Italian restaurant still operating in Paris, is leading the project. The goal is to revive this historic address by embracing the spirit of grand Italian establishments, offering generous transalpine cuisine, timeless elegance, and a convivial atmosphere.

Éthanol, a New Wine Bar by a Michelin-Starred Chef, Opens Next Week

Initially announced for February, the opening of Éthanol is now scheduled for next week. This new establishment is spearheaded by Maxime Bouttier, the chef of the Michelin-starred restaurant Géosmine. Located at 28 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, in the former premises of a shoemaker’s shop, Éthanol will function as a wine bar with a convivial dining area, where market-fresh cuisine will complement over 400 wine references. The menu will feature tapas, cured meats, aged cheeses, premium cuts of meat, and sharing dishes, all within a completely redesigned setting. This opening is particularly anticipated in this already bustling district of the 11th arrondissement.

Le Carlie in Le Haut-Marais Under New Ownership

At 177 Rue Saint-Martin, in Le Haut-Marais, Le Carlie continues its journey with a new team. Noa, Charly, and Flavien have taken over the reins of the establishment, committed to preserving its successful formula: a cocktail bar where evenings extend with a diverse music program, a cozy ambiance, and a meticulously crafted drink menu.

Renowned Chefs Participate in “Tous au Restaurant”

Good news for lovers of gourmet dining: reservations for the 2026 edition of “Tous au Restaurant” opened on May 26th. The event will run from June 1st to June 14th, featuring its iconic formula: “Your guest is our guest,” meaning one free menu for every menu purchased. Over 1,000 establishments across France are already participating in the operation. In Paris, several renowned chefs and restaurants are announced, including Ida by Denny Imbroisi, Marsan by Hélène Darroze, Onor by Thierry Marx, Pouliche by Amandine Chaignot, and Ambos by Pierre Chomet.
