Lyon, June 16, 2026 – The Rallye du Cœur has achieved a remarkable milestone, collecting over one million euros in 2026. The success of the Lyon edition, organized on Saturday, June 13, played a significant role in this triumph, bringing joy and support to families affected by pediatric cancer.
A Million-Euro Milestone for a Noble Cause
The Rallye du Cœur, an event dedicated to supporting children with leukemia and other cancers, announced a total collection of 1,026,984 euros. This impressive sum was largely bolstered by the Lyon edition, which saw 260 beautiful cars on display and welcomed approximately 5,000 visitors. The event, held at the Château de la Milliassière in Succieu (38), provided a much-needed moment of happiness for 180 individuals from families impacted by pediatric cancer, offering them emotional car baptisms.
Franck and Marie-Ange Denoyel, Florian Sermet, Henri Chevallier-Chantepie, and Sébastien Frambourg, the organizers of this 6th edition, expressed immense satisfaction with the outcome. Of the total amount, 721,834 euros were collected during the Lyon event. This followed a successful edition in Megève at the end of January, which raised an additional 305,000 euros. The combined efforts will provide a substantial gift to APPEL (Association Philanthropique de Parents d’Enfants Atteints de Leucémie et autres Cancers), an association dedicated to supporting children with cancer.
More Than Just an Automotive Event
The Rallye du Cœur is renowned for offering passionate car enthusiasts and children the opportunity to experience thrilling car baptisms. However, its true essence lies in the profound emotional support it provides. Organizers highlighted the “unique energy that makes the Rallye du Cœur much more than an automotive event,” emphasizing the smiles, joy, and hope it brings to those facing challenging circumstances.
