The acquisition, finalized on Friday, June 26, marks a significant step in Faure Transport’s growth strategy, bringing its total number of subsidiaries to eleven.
According to a press release from Faure Transport, this move “affirms its desire to consolidate its position as a major regional player in passenger transport in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.” This expansion underscores the group’s commitment to strengthening its presence and service offerings across the region.
Les Rapid’Bleus: A Profile of the New Subsidiary

The group emphasizes that “this new stage will be carried out with respect for the identity, know-how, and local roots that make the company strong.”
Continuity and Leadership Transition
Faure Transport has assured that for employees, clients, and partners, this evolution signifies continuity. “Activities will continue normally, with the same level of expectation and quality of service,” the press release stated. This commitment aims to ensure a smooth transition and maintain the high standards of service that customers have come to expect.
In line with this philosophy of continuity, the operational management of Les Rapid’Bleus will be overseen by Sylvain Alloncle, Simon Alloncle, and Christophe Cornu-Genissieux. All three are members of the current director’s family and are already deeply involved in the company’s operations. They will continue to develop the company in close collaboration with the Faure Transport Group’s Steering Committee and with the support of its various support teams.
