10-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Isère Road Accident, Airlifted to Lyon

L’Isle-d’Abeau, June 29 – A serious road accident occurred on Sunday, June 28, in L’Isle-d’Abeau, Isère, resulting in a 10-year-old child being airlifted to a Lyon hospital in critical condition. Two other people were also injured in the incident.

Head-on Collision on RD1006

The accident took place shortly before 7:00 PM on Sunday when a vehicle, entering the RD1006 in L’Isle-d’Abeau, collided head-on with two other vehicles. The impact led to a significant crash involving a total of six individuals across the three vehicles, according to the Isère fire department.

Three Injured, One in Critical Condition

Among the six people involved, three sustained injuries. The most severe was the 10-year-old child, who was in critical condition (urgence absolue) and required immediate helicopter evacuation to a hospital in Lyon. The other two injured parties were in a relative emergency state (urgence relative) and were transported to the Bourgoin-Jallieu hospital for further examination.
