Maison&Objet and Paris Design Week to Highlight Young Designers in 2026

Paris, July 19, 2026 – In September 2026, Maison&Objet and Paris Design Week will turn the spotlight on the new generation of contemporary design. These two major events will feature two flagship initiatives: the ‘(im)Pulse’ program, inaugurated at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, and the ‘Paris Design Week Factory,’ a discovery trail in Paris’s Marais district. These events are set to be an unmissable gathering for anyone following the emergence of creative talent.

Villepinte Opens to Emerging Talent with (im)Pulse at Maison&Objet

For its September 2026 edition, the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center will host a highly anticipated new feature: the ‘(im)Pulse’ spaces. This unprecedented initiative within the Maison&Objet September 2026 fair is designed as a springboard for brands selected for their uniqueness, freshness, and development potential. The fair, running from September 10 to 14, reaffirms its role as a space for discovering and supporting contemporary creation.

Distributed across several areas within the fair, the ‘(im)Pulse’ zones are the result of collaborations with organizations committed to supporting creative professionals, including Ulule, Pépite France, the City of Paris, and Émergence. Together, they aim to unveil projects that carry new ideas and concrete innovations. This program complements two already well-established initiatives: the Rising Talent Awards, which recognize young international talents, and Future On Stage, dedicated to innovative companies. In Seine-Saint-Denis, the fair confirms its role as a breeding ground for tomorrow’s creation.

Through ‘(im)Pulse’, Maison&Objet is building a coherent ecosystem around emerging design talents, offering rare visibility to brands that might not otherwise have access to such exposure. Visitors to the fair will be able to explore diverse creative worlds, from reinvented everyday objects to the most audacious proposals, within a discovery journey designed to foster encounters between professionals, enthusiasts, and trendsetters.

Paris Design Week Factory: A Marais Trail to the Rhythm of Contemporary Design

In parallel with the fair, the Paris Design Week Factory offers an immersion into current creation through an exhibition trail rooted in the Marais district. Conceived by curators Jean-Baptiste Durand and Simon Geringer, this trail explores the power of objects and the diversity of practices that characterize contemporary design. Far from a uniform vision, the intention is to highlight multiple approaches, ranging from editorial design to collection pieces, including craftsmanship.

Several Parisian addresses will host the exhibitions of this 2026 edition:

  • L’Espace Commines
  • 116 rue de Turenne
  • 10 rue de Turenne
  • 16 rue des Minimes

These locations, all situated in the Marais, form a coherent route that invites visitors to wander through the creations and discover designers, studios, and publishers chosen for the relevance and originality of their approach. Each space offers its own interpretation of design, embracing diversity.

The Paris Design Week Factory thus forms part of a broader dynamic jointly driven by Paris Design Week and Maison&Objet: to support and promote new voices in French and international design. By bringing together creators with varied practices under a single theme, the program offers visitors a vibrant and plural vision of what contemporary creation can be today, far beyond traditional circuits.
