Mions, August 31 – A multi-vehicle collision on the A46 motorway near Mions, in the Marseille-Paris direction, on Sunday, August 30, resulted in five people sustaining critical injuries. Among the victims are four children from the same family. The accident, which occurred around 3:50 PM, is currently under investigation, with preliminary findings suggesting an unexplained sudden braking by one of the vehicles.
According to initial reports, a Peugeot 208 abruptly braked in the middle of a straight section of the road for reasons yet unknown. A Renault Clio traveling directly behind the Peugeot was unable to avoid it and collided violently. Subsequently, a Tesla approaching the scene also became involved.
