David Walters, a self-taught author, composer, interpreter, and multi-instrumentalist, hails from Martinique and Saint Kitts. He co-founded the Zimpala collective in Bordeaux before embarking on a successful solo career from Marseille. Getting to New Morning Paris
New Morning Paris is conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport. The Château d’Eau metro station (Line 4) is just a 2-minute walk away. Several bus lines also serve the area (38, 39, 47, N13, N14). Gare de l’Est is a 10-minute walk, and Gare du Nord is a 15-minute walk.
If you are traveling by car, New Morning can be reached via Boulevard de Magenta, then Rue des Petites Écuries. The journey from central Paris typically takes 15 to 20 minutes. The adjacent PE10 car park (7-9 Rue des Petites Écuries) is open until 2:00 AM, with reservation options available via OPnGO. On-street parking is paid from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (€6/hour), and free at night and on Sundays. Please note that the 10th arrondissement is part of the Low Emission Zone (ZFE); remember to check your Crit’Air vignette. For individuals with reduced mobility, a wheelchair-accessible pit is available; however, the Château d’Eau station is not equipped with elevators.
