Free ‘My First Environmental Health Workshop’ for Parents in Paris
The City of Paris invites expectant parents and parents of newborns to participate in free ‘My First Environmental Health Workshop’ at the PMI Choron center in the 9th arrondissement. These workshops are designed to help you create a healthy environment for your child during pregnancy and in their first two years of life.
Why are the first 1,000 days crucial?
The first 1,000 days of a child’s life, from conception to their second birthday, are vital for their health and development. These workshops will help you understand the impact of the environment on your baby’s health, covering topics such as hygiene products, textiles, food, toys, and household cleaning products. You’ll receive practical tips to make simple changes without overhauling your daily routine or budget.
What to expect from the workshops?
Led by environmental health and early childhood specialists, these collective workshops are free and open to all future parents or parents of newborns. At the end of each session, participants will receive an environmental health kit, including healthy products, practical guides, and simple recipes, to help them get started with peace of mind.
