The 2026 La Réserve Paris Easter Egg: A Parisian Classic Reimagined

Inspired by childhood memories of Brittany, Chef Jordan Talbot’s Signature Easter Egg features a braided design reminiscent of the Paris-Brest. This classic French pastry, originating in Maisons-Laffitte in the late 19th century, is reinterpreted with contemporary precision. The egg’s shell is made from dark Peruvian chocolate, selected for its rich aromatic profile, and encases tender Madagascar vanilla marshmallows coated in chocolate. The top and base, designed as delicate tablets echoing the craquelin of choux pastry, cradle a Valencia almond praline dotted with cocoa nibs. Caramelized nibs provide a subtle crunch, while a molten caramel heart with fleur de sel and roasted vanilla offers a perfectly balanced sweetness.
