Preparations for Donald Trump’s Visit to Versailles Underway

Orly, France – Preparations for US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to France are in full swing. With Trump scheduled to meet with Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles on Wednesday, June 17, an impressive US Air Force military transport aircraft has already touched down at Orly Airport. This arrival underscores the extensive logistical and security measures being deployed for the White House occupant’s travels.

A Giant of the Skies Spotted Near Paris

According to the specialized website AirLive, a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III from the US Air Force landed near Paris on Sunday, June 14. This strategic transport aircraft is among the largest in the American military fleet, capable of transporting vehicles, equipment, and dozens of tons of cargo over long distances. The aircraft is regularly used during the US President’s overseas trips to prepare for the arrival of security and logistics teams.

Donald Trump Expected in Versailles

Following his participation in the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, Donald Trump is scheduled to be received by Emmanuel Macron at the Palace of Versailles. Although the visit will take place in Versailles, the preparations extend across the entire Paris region, which typically serves as a transit point for American teams, official vehicles, and a portion of the equipment necessary for securing the trip.

Visits Under Very High Security

The movements of the American President are among the most heavily secured operations globally. During his visit to France for the Bastille Day parade in 2017, Donald Trump benefited from an exceptional security detail involving thousands of French police, gendarmes, and military personnel, in addition to American Secret Service agents. The areas around the visited sites were heavily secured, and several traffic restrictions were implemented. US services also routinely pre-position armored vehicles, communication equipment, and security gear via cargo planes.

At this stage, no specific measures have yet been announced for Paris and its inner suburbs.
