Police Respond to Disturbance Call
Authorities were alerted around 7:30 PM on Thursday by a neighbor who reported hearing “screams from a woman.” Upon arrival, officers from the Paris police were unable to establish contact with the apartment’s occupants, despite audible noises from within. After securing authorization to force entry, police entered the residence.
Discovery of the Victim
Inside the bathroom, officers found “a clothed woman whose face was submerged in the bathtub water.” The police immediately removed the victim from the water and administered first aid while awaiting emergency services.
