The 91st edition of the Mondial de l’Auto is set to return to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from October 12 to 18, 2026. Following a press-only day on Monday, October 12, the exhibition will open its doors to the public from Tuesday, October 13, to Sunday, October 18. This year’s event promises to host over 60 manufacturers, showcasing a multitude of new automotive innovations, offering test drives, hosting conferences, special exhibitions, and evening entertainment.

What to Expect at Mondial de l’Auto 2026

For its 2026 edition, the Paris Motor Show will gather more than 100 exhibitors, including over 60 manufacturers, across several pavilions at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The program combines the presentation of new models, professional conferences, test centers, autonomous vehicles, an exhibition of exceptional cars, and festive entertainment.

Among the experiences offered to the public are a test drive center in Hall 7.1, with 30 to 45-minute slots available by reservation, as well as an autonomous car test center offering 25-minute sessions. The (Un)limited space, also located in Hall 7.1, will bring together 700 m² of exceptional vehicles, prestigious brands, and rare models. The Tao Love Bus will complement the outdoor program with a musical show aboard a vintage van.

Anticipated Automotive Innovations

The 2026 edition will be marked by numerous presentations of new models and several European or French premieres. Officially announced novelties include the Smart #2, a new two-seater electric city car that reinterprets the concept of the famous Fortwo. The Smart brand will be present in Hall 5.3 with this newcomer alongside the Smart #1, #3, and #5.

Dacia will also take advantage of the show to highlight two important new products: the Striker, a new electrified and accessible C-segment model, and the New Spring, the next generation of its 100% electric city car. At Volvo, the public will be able to discover the new electric SUV EX60, announced with up to 810 km of autonomy.

Mercedes-Benz will make its return to the Mondial with a largely renewed range. The manufacturer has notably announced the presence of the new CLA sedan and CLA Shooting Brake, the electric GLC, the new GLB, as well as the future GLA and the electric C-Class.

The Stellantis group is also preparing several highlights. The Mondial will host the official launch of the DS N°7 and the first presentation in France of the new Lancia Gamma. Leapmotor will exhibit the B03, B03X, and B05, with a European premiere announced for the B03. Citroën will present a new concept car, while FIAT has confirmed the revelation of two new C-segment models and an exclusive concept car. The definitive names of these new FIAT products have not yet all been officially detailed.

New manufacturers and electric brands will also be very present. Zeekr, participating for the first time in the Mondial, will exhibit the 001, X, 7X, and 7GT and announces two new models in European premiere. Volkswagen Group France will be represented by Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Škoda, CUPRA, and Audi and plans several new electrified urban vehicles. Hyundai has also confirmed its participation with new presentations planned, although the definitive details of its novelties for Paris have not yet been communicated.

The Mondial de l’Auto begins on Monday, October 12, with a day exclusively reserved for accredited press. The general public will not be able to access the exhibition on this day.

Tuesday, October 13, 2026

The exhibition opens to the public on Tuesday, October 13, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The first major professional event is the conference cycle “The Future of the Automobile,” organized with Google and BCG in Hall 7.1. Four sessions are scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, focusing on artificial intelligence, driving aids, software-defined vehicles, and global automotive competition. The test drive center and autonomous car test center are accessible by reservation from 9:30 AM. The (Un)limited space and the Tao Love Bus complete the permanent attractions. On the Terrace of Hall 6, Radio FG DJs are announced from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and then from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A Laser Show is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Wednesday, October 14, 2026

On Wednesday, the Mondial is open from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The day is notably dedicated to the conference program “Transforming the Automotive Industry,” organized with Capgemini in Hall 7.1. A first series of sessions is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a second from 2:30 PM to 4:50 PM, focusing on artificial intelligence, engineering, customer experience, and the competitiveness of the automotive industry. The test centers, the (Un)limited space, and the Tao Love Bus remain accessible throughout the day. Radio FG again animates the Terrace of Hall 6 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, before the Laser Show from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Thursday, October 15, 2026

On Thursday, October 15, the exhibition is open from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The Mondial Conferences take over in Hall 7.1 with a program announced from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. These meetings bring together various industry players around the technological, economic, societal, and environmental transformations of the automobile. Test drives and various experiences are still offered in Hall 7.1 and outdoors. On the terrace, Radio FG schedules its DJ sets from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and then from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Laser Show takes place from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Friday, October 16, 2026

Friday marks the first late-night opening of the Mondial, with extended hours from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM. The Mondial Conferences continue from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The test centers and main experiences in Hall 7.1 are offered during the day, generally until 7:30 PM. The atmosphere becomes more festive in the evening on the Terrace of Hall 6: Radio FG DJs are present from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, then from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Laser Show is extended from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, until the closing of the exhibition.

Saturday, October 17, 2026

On Saturday, the Mondial welcomes the public from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The test drive center and autonomous car test center open from 9:30 AM by reservation, while the (Un)limited space and the Tao Love Bus remain on the program for the day. The late-night opening continues with a Radio FG DJ set from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a Laser Show from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the Terrace of Hall 6.

Sunday, October 18, 2026

The exhibition is open from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Sunday is the last day of the Mondial de l’Auto 2026. The experiences in Hall 7.1, including the test centers and the (Un)limited space, as well as the Tao Love Bus outdoors, remain on the program within the exhibition’s opening hours. The official animation program generally indicates slots that can go up to 7:30 PM for some experiences, but since the exhibition closes at 6:30 PM on Sunday, these activities cannot naturally continue beyond the closing time.

Mondial de l’Auto 2026 Start-up Competition

Ahead of the show, the Mondial de l’Auto is organizing a Start-up Competition in collaboration with Automotive Lab by PFA and WILCO. Applications are open from Wednesday, July 29, to Monday, September 7, 2026, inclusive. This initiative aims to identify and highlight innovative young companies in the automotive and mobility sector, giving them visibility within the framework of the 2026 edition of the Mondial.

How to Get to Mondial de l’Auto 2026 in Paris

The Mondial de l’Auto takes place at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris. For visitors arriving by public transport, the main access is via Gate A2. The exhibition center is served by metro line 12, “Porte de Versailles” station, as well as tram lines T2 and T3a, “Porte de Versailles – Parc des Expositions” stop. Buses 80, “Porte de Versailles – Parc des Expositions” stop, and 39, “Desnouettes” stop, also allow access to the site. For visitors coming by car, parking lots P6 and P7 are located nearby. P6 allows direct walking access to the main entrance, while P7 directly serves Pavilion 7 and can be particularly convenient for accessing the Test Drive & Experiences areas.
