Kidz World: Lyon’s New Immersive Park for Children Takes Families by Storm
Lyon, April 18 – A groundbreaking new entertainment park for children, Kidz World, has opened its doors in Lyon, offering an innovative immersive mini-city experience where kids can role-play as adults. Located at 11 rue du Sauveur in the 7th arrondissement, the park has quickly become a popular destination for families since its grand opening on April 4th.
At Kidz World, children aged 4 to 12 can step into the shoes of various professionals, from firefighters and police officers to doctors, shopkeepers, pizza makers, beauticians, and mechanics. This unique concept provides a playful and educational environment designed to stimulate imagination, autonomy, and confidence.
Diverse Experiences and Flexible Pricing
Kidz World offers a range of packages to suit different preferences and budgets. The ‘Immersion’ bracelet grants children two full hours of activities within the mini-city. For an extended experience, the ‘Little Chef’ offer combines 2.5 hours of play with a gourmet pizza break, priced at 26.90 euros.
A dedicated family pack allows three children to enjoy the venue for 50 euros. Additionally, Kidz World caters to special events with a birthday package at 29.90 euros, which includes a privatized table and a dedicated animator to guide the children throughout the celebration. A fee of 3 euros is charged for one accompanying adult, and 5 euros for two.
Adaptable Operating Hours
The park adjusts its operating hours based on the school calendar. During school holidays, Kidz World welcomes families from Tuesday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, closing at 7:00 PM on Sundays.
During school terms, activities are concentrated from Wednesday to Sunday, with openings starting at 9:30 AM on weekdays and extended hours on weekends, matching the holiday schedule for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Engaging Animations and Real-World Immersion
The experience at Kidz World extends beyond static sets. Throughout the day, dynamic animations bring the mini-city to life. Children participate in missions, attend workshops, and interact with animators who guide them in their chosen roles. For instance, they might respond to a simulated emergency as a firefighter, conduct a police intervention, or prepare recipes in a cooking workshop. A system of fictional currency further enhances the immersive experience, allowing children to engage more deeply with this world inspired by real life.
Comfortable dining and waiting areas are also available for parents.
The opening of Kidz World follows a trend of new family-friendly attractions in the Lyon area, including a recently renovated park with 1,000 new trees and children’s play areas, and another new park with various games opening near Lyon.
The park aims to provide a unique blend of entertainment and education, fostering creativity and practical skills in a fun, interactive setting.
